Floriography: January
Carnations will always remind me of my mom. She will often treat herself to a bouquet and spread them throughout her home in vases of varying size. She has taught us to appreciate the beauty of the Carnation, even though it is often overlooked. It is plentiful, long lasting and like all other flowers, brings joy into your home.

As you know, I LOVE the symbolism held within flowers. They remind us that there is more beneath the surface. In general, Carnations signify love, fascination and distinction. It also means good luck or pure love.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They often represent other significant days like Teacher's Day (which is also celebrated in May), January births and is the state flower of Ohio. And guess what? Carnations are also the most popular flower given at Mother's Day!
I would love to see these pins shared with your special people. Wear them in memory of your mothers. Give them to honor your aunties or whomever has held that special role in your life. Or keep it for yourself! I can't wait to hear the memories attached to these pins. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
